Sunday Mornings

STARTING NOV. 8th - We’re thrilled to invite you to join us at True Life Church as we begin regathering indoors in a new location at two different service times - 9:15am & 11am.

We will also continue to stream both services to our ONLINE PLATFORM.

Bayhead Chapel

442 Main Ave.

Bayhead, NJ 08742

There is a limited amount of street parking, but there is free parking at the munipal building one block west on Bridge Ave.

9:00am for our 9:15am service

10:45am for our 11am service

We will provide classroom space for Kids (infants through 5th grade). They will learn lessons that coorespond with our Sunday sermons so that there can be cross-generatioal discussions on the way home and around the dinner table.

Age groups will be broken down into the following:

* Infants & Toddler Class (up to 3yrs. old)

* Pre-School & Elementary Class (3yrs. up to 5th grade)

There is a limit of 16 kids total per service.

*Parents are also welcome to keep their kiddos with them in service if they are more comfortable with that.

We believe that one of the best ways to “love your neighbor” is to not get them sick. That means we will put the health and safety of the vulnerable ahead of benefits to the healthy. That is why we’ve created these safety protocols for both Sunday gatherings. Please read through them so you know what you can expect from us, and what we are asking of you.

Our Executive Team will be reviewing and evaluating these protocols on a regular basis, updating them as the law allows / demands and as we deem necessary.

*Addittionally, Pasor Chris is being tested weekly, since he is preaching from the stage without a mask.

1. Self-Check Health Assessment

We’re asking YOU to self-check for COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever, chills, muscle pain, difficulty breathing, sore throat, loss of taste or smell) and risk factors before attending any service. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell or if you’ve been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days (unless you have been vaccinated, in which case quarantine rules do not apply).

2. Travel Advisory List

If you have traveled to a state that is on the current advisory list (see here for latest updates) we ask that you obey the law and stay clear of church gatherings for 14 days -  UNLESS you are able to get tested and have a negative result after being home for at least 4 days (tests taken prior to the 4th day after returning home are not dependable, as there is an incubation period).

**While our church leaders are not taking on the role of "Travel Gestapo," if we become aware of someone who has been traveling and who is either not aware of the quarantine law or not abiding by it, we are legally required to speak up.

3. Temperature Checks

To keep you safe, all staff and volunteers are required to receive temperature checks upon arrival, and we reserve the right to temperature check all guests. Anyone registering 100.4 or higher will be asked to return home.

We will also check the temperature of any child going into our Kids classroom.

4. Masks

Masks are required to be worn by all adults and children ages 3 and older. Please bring your own masks to all events.

5. Social-Distancing

We will work to create environments conducive to social distancing and we ask that all individuals / families remain at least 6-feet apart from others during services. We’re trading-in hugs, handshakes, and high-fives for exuberant waves and fist bumps to old friends!

6. Hand-Sanitizer Stations

Hand sanitizer stations will be provided throughout the sanctuary and all are asked to take a squirt before entering (Kids will get a squirt before entering the Annex where their classroom time will be).

7. Food & Drink

We won’t be serving any food and we ask that you don’t bring any outside food to True Life gatherings. Since you can’t eat with a mask on, we believe this is best for everyone’s safety and comfort levels. Bottled water is an exception—stay hydrated! (just please don't use this as a reason to keep your mask down).

8. Bracelets

All attendees will receive their choice of a yellow or red wrist-band (yellow = moderately cautious, red = please please keep your distance) each week. Greens are only for outdoor events.

What's Up with all the Jesus Love Songs?
We know, singing can be a little weird, especially for men. This is because singing to someone is a very vulnerable thing. But that’s exactly why the bible tells us to do it – because it is one way that we express our dependence and devotion to God. So bear with us. And if you see anyone raising their hands, don’t freak out. They’re simply doing what football fans do when their team scores a touchdown – celebrating.

What Should I Wear?
Whatever is most comfortable for you. Whether it’s a Hawaiian shirt with flip flops or an Armani suit, it doesn't matter to us.

Will I Feel Pressured to Give Money?
We hope not. We receive offerings, but we don’t want anyone giving out of obligation or because they feel pressured. No religious-guilt money here!

If I Don’t Like It, Can I Get Up and Leave?
Of course!

Any questions, shoot Pastor Chris an email:
