Because of everything we do on Sunday mornings, there are a lot of ways to serve the vision of the church and be a part of what God is doing in our community.
Take a look at the below teams and give one of them a try.
SET-UP & BREAK-DOWN TEAM
This is the team that arrives early to unpack our trailer and then stays after service to help pack it up. To help with this team once per month, contact Daniel Riconda (firstname.lastname@example.org).
This is the team that prepares the coffee and bagels and creates a warm & inviting environmnent in the lobby. To help with this team just once per month, contact Judy Sherwood (email@example.com).
When a guest first comes into our Sunday gathering, they will immediately feel welcome or immediately feel out of place. Our greeting team makes all the difference. To help with this team just once per month, contact Judy Sherwood (firstname.lastname@example.org).
This team brings order to our service, makes sure our offerings are protected, welcome and/or help people as they enter the auditorium, and prepare our communion elements. To help with this team just once per month, contact Dave D'Amico (email@example.com).
This team is responsible for our audio and visual presentation. They make sure the sound levels are right and the PowerPoint presentation is displaying correctly. If you are interested in serving on this team once or twice per month, contact Mandy Mercado (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The purpose of the band is to lead the congregation to worship God through singing and praising Him. If you are a musician or singer and would like to join the team, email Mandy Mercado (email@example.com).
On Sunday mornings we have classes for infants-5th graders. This team is responsible for providing these kids with safe and age-appropriate environments to learn the lessons of the Bible in a creative and fun way. Currently the teachers are on a four week rotation. If you would like to serve the children of True Life, email April Walters (April@truelifenj.com).
This team welcomes parents and families in an upbeat and friendly way, while helping them to smoothly experience Kids Ministry. They assist new parents in the sign-in process, show them to their child's classroom, and pack up the computers at the end of service.
This team is responsible for providing general safety and security. They stay in the lobby area to make sure our kids wing is secure, allowing only approved parents & volunteers to enter. Volunteers are on a rotating schedule and they can also listen to the live service audio stream. Shea Oakley coordinates this team, to join email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Kathleen Oakley is heading up a brand new dance team that will help lead us in worship from time to time. If you’re interested in this new artistic endeavor, email Kat (email@example.com).
